About Wild Child: Wild Child was founded by Malou & Eva from Amsterdam. After winning the Hot Chocolate Awards with their carefully selected beans from the Dominican Republic, the women created the perfect roasting profile and method for a cacao of 100% ceremonial quality. Each bean that goes into your cup is cracked by hand in a traditional metate from Mexico. Then they are (stone) ground for 24 hours. It's a process that creates a delicious, smooth and rich cocoa drink.

About the cocoa: Wild Child's cocoa comes from the organic farmer cooperative called Öko-Caribe in the Dominican Republic. The cooperative is known for their high quality cocoa and the farmers are very well supported. From technical training to offering loans for cocoa and community needs. The farmers receive four times the market price of cocoa, allowing them to earn a sustainable income for themselves and their families.
