This super handy cleaning sponge is made by hand in Egypt from the luffa plant. A 100% biodegradable alternative to plastic sponges!!

When immersed in water, the sponge swells into a soft and flexible sponge. The sponge can also be used dry, then it is more stiff and therefore ideal for sanding. The sponge is ideal for washing dishes or to keep the bathroom clean.

The sponge will last for months and can be composted when worn out.

Tips for use:

• Rinse well with water before first use.
• Use in warm water with detergent.
• To keep the loofah fresh between uses, squeeze out the excess water, shake out any dirty bits and hang the pad to dry on the cotton loop.
• Wash occasionally in the washing machine or by hand for more frequent use.

Tip: Use this one sponge in combination with anatural dish soap or cleaning soap.
